Founded in 1995 as Octapixx Worldwide, the company began as a wildlife documentary production enterprise with Discovery Channel as the company’s primary broadcaster.  Over time, Octapixx expanded its global distribution of media rights, representing an ever-growing roster of producers. This growth included the establishment of Octapixx Live, a sports content division that achieved significant success worldwide.  Since being added in 2014, Protocol Sports Marketing has always been at the forefront of innovation.  Transforming Boxing media distribution by prioritizing broadcasters’ needs, Protocol Sports established itself as a leader in the industry, offering integrated, accessible services that cater to a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Over the years, the company’s growth has been fueled by strategic collaborations, including partnerships with TV2GO International, Canada’s premier provider of live video transmission services, and Multi-Link Holland, leading to the creation of TV2GO Multi-Link—a European teleport that amplifies global distribution capabilities.

In 2025, Octapixx Media launched a cutting-edge Toronto facility, now serving as the studio and control room production provider for OneSoccer’s nationwide coverage of the Canadian Premier League, responsible for the production of 150+ matches from across Canada to major international broadcasters including Fox Sports in the USA and TSN in Canada.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
